Dhanraj, a mild-mannered man is married to a wealthy and dominating wife. He has two sons and a daughter. The elder son Ram is married to Seeta; the younger son Amar is in love with Asha and daughter Uma is married to Lallu Ram. Mrs. Dhanraj wants Amar to marry a very rich girl so that she can accumulate more wealth through a large dowry.
