May 5, 2012 - the ISO is basically the sensor's sensibility to light. The higher the ISO, the bigger the little dots (pixels) get on the sensor, allowing for the picture to look brighter even though there's not much light at all in the room/enviroment you are shooting in. You'll find yourself changing the ISO depending on the amount of available light that the enviroment you are at offers you. The only downside to higher ISO numbers is that it lowers the quality of the image.

May 10, 2012 - Canon Av and Tv modes means appereture and time value, bulb mode is nice coz you do not have to turn the dial to 30sec in other modes and one more to bulb like e. g. on 550D ..
